Data We Collect

When you create an account and profile on peer6, we collect:

• Name, bio, role (mentor/mentee), organisation, job title, location
• Skills, interests, mentoring topics, availability, LinkedIn URL, years of experience
• Profile photo (stored in Cloudflare R2)
• Messages sent between matched pairs
• Authentication data (managed by our auth service via OAuth providers)

How We Use Your Data

• Display your profile to other members for mentoring connections
• Enable messaging between matched mentor-mentee pairs
• Generate platform statistics (anonymised/aggregated)

Data Storage

Your data is stored on Cloudflare's global edge network using D1 (database) and R2 (photos). Data is encrypted at rest and in transit.

Your Rights

• Export — Download all your data (profile, matches, messages) as JSON from your profile settings
• Delete — Permanently delete your account. Your profile will be anonymised and your photo removed
• Correct — Edit your profile at any time to update your information

Data Sharing

We do not sell or share your personal data with third parties. Your profile information is only visible to authenticated platform members.
